The Willett family has a rich distilling history, having founded the Willett Distillery in 1936. In 2012, the renovated distillery opened its doors, the Willetts of today shepherding the family legacy forward. In 2022, the first Willett Wheated 8 Year Bourbon was released. The first release was distilled in 2013 from a proprietary wheated bourbon mash bill, then barreled at 115 proof. After spending 8 years in #4 char American oak casks, it was bottled in 2022 at 108 proof without chill-filtration.
